Seneca Falls’ Lasting Effect

A 6 page paper examining conditions as they existed at the time of the Seneca Falls convention in 1848 and again 70 years later in 1918 when women at last won the right to vote. At the time of the Seneca Falls convention, women had no legal rights of any kind, including the right to hold a job or retain any family inheritance once she married.
