Mandatory Drug Testing For High School Athletes

A 9 page paper arguing that mandatory drug testing should be enforced and implemented. While it may seem as though this is an issue which consists of an invasion of personal issues, in light of today’s competitive world, there are many instances where drug use is a serious concern in high school athletics, harming those that are not involved with drug enhancers. Unfortunately we live in a world where we cannot rely on the integrity of individuals and their own inherent desire to achieve and succeed on their own resources. While the issue of drug testing may involve the use of mind-altering, illegal drugs, the main focus is on that of the use of drugs such as steroids used for enhancing performance in sports.
