Anthony Burgess' 'Is America Falling Apart' ?
[ send me this paper ]
5 pages in length. Is America falling apart? It is an interesting question which does not have a singular answer. Even Anthony Burgess is torn as to whether America is truly falling apart or merely moving through a transitional period on its way to better times. His constant allusions to miscreant characters and unsavory activities lead one to believe that Burgess considers humanity a sea of lost souls who have fallen victim to the seedier side of human culture. The writer discusses whether Burgess believes America is, indeed, falling apart, as well as addresses the various reasons he may believe this to be true. **This is an Anthony Burgess article being reviewed-- not a novel. Israel's Children
[ send me this paper ]
It could be argued that the differences in cultures
that is seen in Israel is not different from those seen in the urban
areas of the United States. This 5 page paper argues that in Israel the
idea of the children as the foundation for the future is as embraced as
in the United States, however, it is not always possible to keep them
guarded from the violence that surrounds them and is an integral
component of the current cultural reality. Bibliography lists 4
sources.
