Bush is Consistent

A 6 page essay that defends Bush on the question of his consistency. In the October 18, 2004 edition of Newsweek magazine, columnist Jonathan Alter quotes Hillary Clinton as saying that "Kerry may sometimes change his positions to fit the facts. But Bush changes the facts to fit his positions" (41). While this bit of elocution makes for snappy copy, examination of Bush's record does not support this assertion as being factual.
