Recapitulated highlights of the novel and ties the fictional message into the very real societal warning that problems we are currently experiencing in our society in regard to teen misconduct are only a symptom of a very complex societal ill. "No Matter How Loud I Shout : A Year in the Life of Juvenile Court": A Review of the Book by Edward Humes

A 5 page review of the book by Edward Humes criticizing the many shortfalls of the nation's juvenile justice system. Emphasizes that the problems of rising juvenile crime are really a reflection of an inadequate and inefficient system. Concludes that Humes methodically unravels the problems and suggest solution to each. His choice of words, while sometimes callous and brash, are a reflection of a system with the same qualities.
